Korey’s Joy Drive
The City of Vancouver invites the community to support the tenth annual Korey’s Joy Drive. Donate toys and warm clothing this holiday season and help honor the memory of Korey Cochran, a City employee who passed away in 2017 at the age of 38 from brain cancer.
During Korey’s Joy Drive, the City collects new, unwrapped toys for all ages, and new winter coats, gloves, socks, shoes and hats for youth, teens and adults. All donations are delivered to local charities in December. Together, we can share Korey’s joy with families throughout our community this holiday season.
2024 Joy Drive Dates
Donations are accepted Wednesday, Nov. 13 through Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2024.

Children’s Justice Center
The Arthur D. Curtis Children’s Justice Center is a nationally accredited Children’s Advocacy Center that provides a safe, child-focused place for alleged child victims of criminal-level abuse and their non-offending family members.
The Center’s multidisciplinary team of trained responders comes together from across agencies and jurisdictions to address crimes against children, including holding perpetrators accountable through the judicial system and sensitively considering children’s health and healing needs.
Fosterful
Fosterful, a nonprofit organization, is a community of qualified volunteers partnering with child welfare offices to provide a nurturing environment for children entering foster care.
Our volunteers keep children occupied and safe while social workers work behind the scenes to arrange for their long term care, often having conversations not suited for children’s ears.
We fill little bellies that may not have eaten in some time, bring tissues where there are tears, and put stuffies in the arms of kids who have had everything taken from them.
Open House Ministries
Open House Ministries is committed to equipping homeless families with the tools necessary for resolving issues that lead to poverty and homelessness. They provide a holistic, long-term approach to working with homeless families to meet their physical, mental and spiritual needs to break the cycle of homelessness. Your donation will go help brighten the holidays for youths and teens of all ages.
