Annual Pearson Field celebration takes to the air
The Pearson Field Education Center, City of Vancouver and Pearson Field Advocates for General Aviation host an annual airport appreciation celebration and open house at historic Pearson Field during the month of September.
The fun free event featured activities for all ages, including:
- Cockpit tours of a T28
- Classic airplanes on display
- Disney's "Planes" activities
- Free hot dog feed
- Fun activities
- Hands-on demonstrations
- Prizes and a drawing for free airplane flights
This event occurs every fall.

Historic Pearson FieldPearson Field is noted as one of the oldest continuously operating airfields in the United States.
