Adults can take part in drop-in sports at both Firstenburg and Marshall community centers. Vancouver Parks and Recreation also offers sports leagues for men and women including basketball, kickball, softball, volleyball and tennis.
Passholders can drop into a game for free at either gymnasium, but anyone can show a daily drop-in receipt along with valid photo I.D. to jump in on a game. Drop-in programs are open on a first-come, first-served basis with sign-ups beginning 30 minutes before each game.

The Vancouver City League Slow-Pitch Softball Program is sanctioned by the Amateur Softball Association (ASA). Participants must be 14 years and older, with parental permission required if under 18. Players may play on several teams in the league during the season but not on the same night. Games take place at Bagley Park, David Douglas Park or Memory/Mill Plain Park. All tournaments are co-sponsored by Vancouver Parks and Recreation and the Vancouver Softball Association. Tournaments are played at David Douglas Park on Saturdays with a guarantee of three games. Registration forms are available at Marshall Community Center or by calling the League Sports Office at 360-487-7082. Teams must be registered with the Amateur Softball Association to participate.
Participants in City League Volleyball must be at least 14 years old. This league is for women only. Matches are played Wednesday and Thursday evenings at the Marshall gymnasium. Registration is done on a team basis at Marshall Community Center one month prior to the start of the season. You may register individually and a team will be formed along with others. You can also fill out our Free Agent Form to be picked up by a current team.
This is a six-week, coed recreational kickball league with games played Thursday evenings at Bagley and David Douglas parks in June and July. Registration begins in January. Teams may have up to 16 players on their roster; games are played with 10 on the field. Players must be 14 years or older, and those under 18 require parental permission. Game balls will be provided. The league format will depend on the number of teams.

The Vancouver Tennis Center offers a variety of Adult Leagues and Classes for players of all skill levels.
This discount is available for teams where the team manager lives within Vancouver City limits. Additionally, if the team has a sponsor within City limits that pays 50 percent or more of the fee with a business check, you will receive the discount! Proof of address can be a current driver's license, utility bill or a property tax statement. The discount can only be taken off when roster and fees are submitted in advance and will not be given at a later date.
