Application process now open for Culture, Arts and Heritage Grants

February 15, 2024

The City of Vancouver is now accepting applications for its Culture, Arts and Heritage Grants Program. This program’s goal is to support performances, exhibitions, activities and public art that showcase the best of Vancouver’s creative community.

“Last year, the Culture, Arts and Heritage Commission awarded grants to 15 projects that supported local music, visual art, dance, drama, film and cultural events,” said Cultural Services Manager, Stacey Donovan. “We are delighted to offer this opportunity again in 2024 and look forward to empowering ideas that celebrate and reflect the rich diversity of our Vancouver community.”

Applications will be accepted through April 7, with grants awarded in June. Applications should demonstrate high artistic quality, innovation and creativity. Grants range from $1,000 to $10,000 and support projects occurring between July 2024 and November 2025. A total of $100,000 is available.

To help applicants navigate the process, the Culture, Arts and Heritage Commission will host a series of application workshops. These optional workshops will provide training and support for those interested in applying for a grant. Interested parties can register to attend a workshop at www.cityofvancouver.us/culturegrants.
