Travel Options Program
The City of Vancouver’s Travel Options Program meets people where they live, work, and play to encourage them to bike, walk, carpool, and ride the bus more often. The program helps reduce drive-alone trips, reducing carbon emissions, and improving air quality. The Travel Options Program is critical to achieving the City’s climate, safety, and equity goals.
Prior Programs
In 2012, the City launched the Destination Downtown program to connect with small businesses to encourage travel options among their employees and visitors. The program hosted a variety of outreach and education like a coupon book, brochures, maps, walking tours, and more. Today these programs and services are hosted within GetThereSWWashington.org.
Program Resources
- 2019 Bicycle Maps available; the next update is planned for 2026
- Get There brochures; the City hosts GetThereSWWashington.org and has information to explain these resources.
