Each day after the winter solstice grows longer and gains light. By the June solstice, we reach our longest day, and the decline of light once again begins. Join us for a morning walk along the banks of the Columbia River. Celebrate the winter solstice as it ushers in the return of the light and longer days on the horizon. Plan to walk 2 miles on uneven trails, sandy and muddy pathways and beaches, and some paved surfaces. Additional details and program logistics will be emailed to registered participants.
