Commercial Food Truck Checklist

Plans

  1. Site Plan
    • Show north arrow
    • Property lines and dimensions (size and shape of parcel); include easements
    • Locations, dimensions and height of proposed food truck or trailer and all existing buildings and structures, such as decks or patio covers.
      • Include dimensions from each other and from all property lines.
    • Show solid waste storage area on plans.
      • Service can be shared with other businesses on site under shared use and access agreements
    • Staff and customers must have access to a restroom. Indicate where this restroom is located.
    • Show utility connections.
      • If not connected to City sewer with a grease trap, the food truck will need to have a collection service for the used grease/cooking oil.
  2. If permanent structures are proposed, such as decks or patio covers, then
    • Structural Plans
    • Structural Calculations
    • Seating Plan

  1. Signed and Dated Commercial, Multi-Family & Industrial (CMI) Application Form (PDF)
  2. Copy of WA State Department of Labor & Industries Approval
  3. Copy of City Business License
  4. Copy of Clark County Health Department Approval (Letter or Receipt)
  5. Copy of City Food Vendor’s License
