Long Range Planning
The Long Range Planning Team works with the community to develop a variety of projects and programs that focus on the built environment, and together advance the City’s policy priorities of taking bold climate action, advancing justice, equity, diversity and inclusion, and improving community safety. This includes planning and developing policies for how the city will grow, the types and sizes of housing options that are available, and how all this works together to increase access to opportunity and redress past harms.
A Roadmap for Vancouver’s Growth and Development
The Comprehensive Plan is one of our community’s most important tools to help plan for our future. Over the next two years, community members and the City will work together to develop a plan that will guide Vancouver’s growth and development over the next 20 years.
