City proposes funding new programs with unused CDBG/HOME funds

Updates
Vancouver, Wash. The City of Vancouver proposes to submit a substantial amendment to the Annual Action Plan for program years (PY) 2022 and 2023. The purpose of this substantial amendment is to notify HUD and the community of its intention to reprogram unused CDBG funds and cancel a HOME award as described in the Proposed Changes to the City of Vancouver 2022 and 2023 Action Plan document. The funds to be reprogrammed consist of unused funds from projects that were ended or cancelled.
In accordance with Consolidated Plan requirements at 24 CFR Part 91 Subpart B and the City’s Citizen Participation Plan, changes to the Action Plan through this Substantial Amendment are advertised to provide opportunity for public comment.
