Free the Trees Ivy Pull at Blandford Canyon

Join the City of Vancouver’s Urban Forestry department for a morning of removing invasive ivy from trees on Blandford Dr.
Training, gloves, tools, water, and light snacks will be provided. Volunteers should dress for the weather and MUST wear long pants and closed-toe shoes. We will meet at Dubois Park, then walk to the ivy pull site. Youth under 18 must bring a signed minor consent form, youth under 13 are not permitted at this event.
Accessibility is important to us and we’ve taken it into account while planning this event. This location is not wheelchair accessible. Work will mostly be done on uneven, steep terrain. For invasive removal projects, volunteers may be kneeling, pulling, and twisting as well as possibly lifting plants overhead to load into a dumpster. There is a space in the RSVP form for you to let us know if there are any accessibility needs you have so that we can do our best to find a volunteer role that will work for you.
