- Carefully review the requirements for the posted position before completing your application.
- Commission meetings may require day or evening attendance. When you accept a Board/Commission seat, you’ll confirm your ability to attend these meetings.
- Upon appointment, proof of identity and residency may be required (“Do I live in Vancouver City limits?” map)
- Applications are considered active for one year. You will be notified by email of future openings for those Boards and Commissions you previously applied for or expressed interest in.
- Under the state’s Public Records Act (RCW 42.56), applications submitted for these appointments are public records and may be subject to public disclosure.
- City employees are not eligible to serve on boards and commissions.
