How to Schedule an Inspection
City building and electrical inspectors conduct inspections to check for compliance with approved plans, in addition to local and State building code regulations.
Inspections received after 6:30 a.m. will be inspected the next business day.

Using the City’s online scheduling system, you can:
- Schedule an Inspection
- Cancel a scheduled inspection
- Leave a detailed message for your inspector
- Retrieve inspection results and history
- Verify permit status

Customers can schedule an inspection and send a message to their inspector by texting 833-794-2003 Inspections may be scheduled up to five days in advance.
Before you text, make sure you have:
- Your permit number
- The date you’d like the inspection to occur
