Request Administrative Review of Proposed Alternate Materials or Methods

This form is for proposals that the applicant asserts will meet the intent of the applicable code or standard being enforced; or are equal to, or better than, literal code compliance in terms of safety

This form may also be used to make a request based on reasonable hardships that impose a valid need for a reasonable time frame for compliance. Such a proposal shall include a proposed time frame with logical steps toward full code compliance. This option cannot waive immediate fire and life safety hazard corrections but can provide for temporary alternate methods that will meet the intent of the Code until permanent solutions are completed.
