November 1, 2024

Detectives from the Vancouver Police Department Major Crime Unit are continuing the investigation into the shooting that occurred at the Vancouver Mall yesterday evening.

The two victims who were injured were both adult males, 30 and 40 years of age. Both suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were treated and released from the hospital. There have been no additional injuries reported. The victim who died at the scene was also an adult male. His exact age and identity have not yet been confirmed.

The two individuals who were injured were not believed to be intended targets, but rather were just in close proximity to where the shooting occurred.

Anyone with information that may be helpful to this investigation, and who have not yet spoken with police, are asked to call the Vancouver Police Tip Line at (360) 487-7399.
