Vancouver Police Investigate Shooting

Today at around 4 p.m., 911 callers reported hearing shots fired in the area of E Fourth Plain Blvd/Fort Vancouver Way. A male suffering a non-life-threatening gunshot injury was located. Officers also located multiple shell casings in the 2500 block of Fort Vancouver Way. A canvass of the area was conducted, including a K-9 track. No additional victims were located. Police are continuing to interview possible witnesses and are attempting to confirm a suspect(s) description.
Anyone with information, that has not spoken to police, is asked to contact the Vancouver Police Department. The Vancouver Police Department Major Crimes Unit is continuing the investigation. No additional information is available at this time.
