Vancouver Police investigate vehicular homicide

On July 9th at around 9: 20 p.m., Vancouver Police responded to a physical disturbance involving two males in a parking lot in the 13200 block of NE Leroy Haagen Memorial Drive. One of the males got into his RV, hit and ran over the other male before fleeing the area. The victim was transported to an area hospital where he later died.
A Clark County Sheriff’s Office deputy and detectives from the Vancouver Police Crime Prevention Unit located the RV and the suspect in the area of NE Fourth Plain Blvd./NE 162nd Avenue. The suspect was taken into custody without incident.
Andrew R. Roberts was arrested and booked into the Clark County Jail for Vehicular Homicide and Felony Hit and Run.
The Vancouver Police Department Major Crimes Unit and Traffic Unit are continuing the investigation and nothing additional is being released at this time.
